Word From The Pastor

It is with profound pleasure that I greet each of you in the name of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

God has favored me to reach this milestone of five years as under shepherd to his flock here at New Zion Baptist Church. Five is the number of grace and it has certainly been His grace and mercy that has brought us thus far.

As a servant of God,  I am commissioned and compelled to preach the Word of God in season and out of season. My desire is to continue to preach and teach His word with power and authority; realizing that it is through preaching that men will come to the light of salvation. It is my prayer that in being obedient to the Will of God, I will be found faithful.

To my New Zion Missionary Baptist Church family, I am eternally grateful for all your prayers and support. Our work here is far from over. We must continue to work the work of Him who has sent us, we must continue to lift up the name of Jesus, we must continue to paint the unsaved to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.

To all my family and friends who have journeyed here for this day, I can only say thank you. Whether you came from near or far, I am at a loss for words to express my gratitude to each of you.

As we go forward, let’s continue to pray one for another and seek to finish our God given assignment to serve this present age.

In His Serve,

Pastor Gregory L. Morris
